Why Ceremonies?
Ceremonies is at the heart of “Cheerful Service” and provides each candidate a memorable experience. From Pre Ordeal that sets the candidate on a journey of self discovery, to the Vigil ceremony that recognizes a life of “Service to the devotion and welfare of others,” the Ceremonies Team is there. Come and be a part of creating something special for our members.
What is in it for you?
Comfortable sleeping arrangements- You get to stay in the cabins during Fellowships when you’re actively a member of the team.
Shoulder loops, patches, and black sash- You get a shoulder loop with an arrowhead in the corresponding color represented by your role. A patch is awarded after serving as a ceremonialist for two years, and a black sash for those that serve four fellowships and meet the attendance requirement. for rehearsals.
What do I have to do to join?
To join the Ceremonies team, you must be under the age of 21. You must be capable of memorizing the lines of a script. You must attend as many practices as possible and the workshop held the Saturday before each Fellowship.
